Some of the most recent laws passed in Italy resumed a bebate about the opportunity of changing the collective bargaining model related to 23 july 2003 social pact. Such pact gave a pivotal role to company collective bargaining in order to achieve a more balanced income distribution and a better regulation of work conditions. The extent and the contents of these agreements have not been analyzed so far with a micro approach and a data set representative in terms of number of agreements and years. Using such an approach this essay analyzes the contents and the covering rate of this kind of agreement over a 15 years span of time, in a region that is well-known for the high number of little and medium firms.
